Love takes up where knowledge leaves off - Thomas Aquinas

If the natives choose to live up in the north, than they need to figure out how to make money and have food, shelter, clean water. If they can’t figure this out than it’s time to move.

Wow, I had no idea the Pentagram was originally a Christian symbol. That makes it really hilarious that Christians associate it with the devil and Satanism now. Shows how ignorance and brainwashing go hand in hand…

May your 5 stars be blessed!

#IdleNoMore Peace Arch Gathering

January 5, 2013 - 1pm

Calling all women, all nations, Mothers, Grandmothers, Aunties, Sisters, Daughters and our Brothers, Uncles, Grandfathers, Sons will stand with us.

This is a peaceful gathering of Indigenous women, standing united, showing our support for the Idle No More Movement, and for Chief Theresa Spence.

There will be a symbolic meeting with our relatives from Bellingham side… as a symbol that both sides of the border are in support of justice for our people, as a sign of support for Idle No More, and as a symbol that both sides, support Chief Theresa Spence.

We will have a moment of silence, and an elder to do a prayer for our people, and for Chief Spence.

All Welcome! Our men, women, families, allies, friends.
Please bring signs, banners, drums, rattles, regalia,

* We will meet at the Vancouver Aboriginal Friendship Centre at 11:30, so hopefully those with rooms in their cars can carpool. We have a few arranged rides thus far.

Hychka to all and very important to remember that this is not a blockade but a symbolic gesture, a show of support and a prayer ceremony.

#idlenomore until every last one of us is free…
